Well here we are, almost a month has passed since our last engagement, and my last entry to this page. I must say the folks at Sunman First Southern Baptist are among the finest people around and really put on a spread. We had a great time ministering the word in song. The two preachers were most capable. Cody Jones, a young preacher and full of fire was up first and gave the word in fine fashion and truth and Tom Metcalf was the second man of the evening and brought the word with power and truth.
Elvin Johnson and his friends sang and played the wonderful songs of old and gave fine testimonies, a wonderful addition to the evening.
But the evening ended with sadness. Glenna had to leave the trio. Ill health and family matters must come first and the traveling must bear the pain of her absence. Tina and I want to say that the past three years were absolutely wonderful and full of great and precious personal memories. We wish Glenna and Bill the best of blessings, and pray for them daily, as well as their family.
But, what does that leave for Inspiration By Faith?
I wish I could tell you, we have chosen to attempt to carry on, and try to fulfill our promise to God and to Glenna. We are interviewing potential new members, but have not gotten the comfort from heaven that one of them is the right choice yet. So we will carry on.
Thank all you people who have prayed for us and we ask you continue to do so. We are accepting bookings for the 2010 year and continue to pray for the blessing and guidance for God the Father.
We love you all and most of all we love God, and His service is what we are all about.
